Step into the world of dance with Darcey Bussell and DDMIX (Diverse Dance Mix) at the iconic Royal Academy of Dance, in this high-energy 30-minute Live Lesson, designed for primary children.

This interactive session introduces pupils to diverse dance styles, helping them to build confidence and explore the arts as they discover movement, rhythm and self-expression.


What to expect:


  • Warm up with Darcy and dancers from the Royal Academy of Dance
  • Take a twirl around the globe, learning dace moves from around the world
  • Combine these with new moves to create and perform an entire dance routine

How to take part


We’d love for you to join our live lesson on Thursday 19 June to take part in a nationwide celebration of the arts. However, we understand the need for flexibility, so the lesson will be uploaded to this page early on Monday 9 June, and will remain on the site so you can run it at a time that works best for you.
