Sky Arts' Access All Arts was created with a simple belief: that high-quality arts education should be available to every child in every primary school across the UK and Ireland.
We provide free, easy-to-use resources, designed to work for teachers at all levels of arts confidence. To help make our resources as accessible as possible, we created five modules: Marks, Images, Words, Moves, and Sounds .
We chose these modules because they reflect the different ways young people experience and express creativity – through sound, movement, drawing, visual images, and words. This approach helps everyone find a way into the arts that works for them. Each module has its own colour to help you navigate the resources and find what you need more easily.
The arts have a critical role to play in developing the skills and behaviours that help children thrive, in school and in life.
The recent Curriculum Review has put creativity and the arts back at the heart of education policy and recognises that a broad, balanced curriculum is essential for equipping young people with the skills they need for the future.
Our free resources make it easier for teachers to deliver high-quality arts activities with confidence, helping schools meet the spirit of the review and bring genuine creative learning into their classrooms.
Since launching, the programme has grown year-on-year, reaching over a million children and working with thousands of schools to embed creative learning into everyday classroom life.
